In the Community
Attorney Chris Cummings was raised in Homewood, Illinois and maintains deep connections to the community where he lives and works. As the Village Attorney for Homewood, Chris handles many of the village’s legal needs, including participating in Village Board meetings and advising local elected and appointed officials on zoning and land use, ordinance preparation, economic development, Freedom of Information requests, and compliance with the Open Meetings Act.
Chris is an avid runner, having completed the Chicago Marathon and Indianapolis Monumental Marathon several times. When he is not logging miles with the Yankee Runners, his favorite place to run is the 3.6 mile Izaak Walton Nature Preserve trail in Homewood.
